The sprawling Phoenix suburb, Surprise, is only a 45 minute drive from downtown Phoenix, and is located in the Northwest corner of the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Bordered by the White Tank Mountain range to the west, and the Sonoran Desert to the north, Surprise is a spectacularly beautiful area of Phoenix.

It’s a perfect place to live for outdoor adventurers. The distance from downtown may sound like a far distance, but with that distance you get great access to some of Phoenix’s best hiking, camping and fishing.

Along with outdoor activities, Surprise is also home to many sporting events each year. Every spring Surprise hosts the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers baseball teams for their spring training. We all know that Phoenix is home to a plethora of MLB Spring Training, yet did you know that Surprise has continuously been ranked as home to the Number 1 Spring Training Stadium by USA Today!

Surprise is also home to the southwest’s largest tennis complex, golf courses and man made fishing lake. There is so much to do here, it’s no wonder the population of Surprise saw a fast spike in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s.
