The company is the largest employer in Chandler and has had an influential role in how the area has grown and the design of local infrastructure.

Things to know about Chandler
Not only does the neighborhood of Chandler have a tech homebase, but it’s also known for its diverse community and vibrant culture. There are plenty of delicious eateries to enjoy and great golf courses, and overall plenty of family friendly things to do as well.
Some of Chandler’s more popular, family friendly things to do is visit the Arizona Railway Museum, play at the Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center and spend an afternoon climbing throughout the tropical themed play center, Makutu’s Island! (Quite frankly, all of these sound exciting – we wish there were adult versions of these places in Chandler!) But most uniquely, Chandler is home to an annual Ostrich festival!

When Chandler was first settled, agriculture was it’s main infrastructure; there were farms for cotton, corn and alfalfa. Eventually ostrich farms were introduced to the Chandler area, and so the demand for ostrich plumes grew exponentially. Now the city hosts its annual Ostrich festival!
While the Ostrich festival may be enough to draw you to move here, there are also plenty of other annual events Chandler is known for; such as the Downtown Chandler Art Walk, annual Jazz Festival and Chandler Chuck Wagon cook-off!
