Things to know about Peoria
One of the best things to do in Peoria is to take advantage of the MLB spring training here for both the San Diego Padres and Seatle Mariners. And when you’re done enjoying the game, you can head to one of Peoria’s many delicious eateries! Try the Social on 83rd for it’s epic grilled cheese, or the Haymaker for a great brunch, and if you’re into craft cocktails, you can’t go wrong at Lucidi Distilling Co.
In addition to being a sports fan favorite, Peoria has a growing art scene you can enjoy year-round. How about a night at the theatre? The Peoria Center for the Performing Arts is home to over 200 events each year, and often schedules outdoor concerts too! There is also the Arizona Broadway Theatre that residents can enjoy in Peoria. Since 2006, this theater has been bringing in amazing broadway shows, and what makes it special is their accompanied meal service with each show.
There are also plenty of beautiful outdoor areas you can venture through in Peoria; such as the Lake Pleasant Regional Park, Castle Hot Springs, and the Sonoran Desert.
