What to know about Living in Queen Creek Arizona

Why live in Queen Creek, Arizona?

Queen Creek has changed a lot over the last decade, many would say you can hardly recognize the area now. But one thing has remained the same, Queen Creek is a family friendly place to live with a high quality of life offered to its residents.

Queen Creek has one of the highest median incomes in the valley.  There are more families than singles living in Queen Creek, and a drive around town will quickly make that apparent with the many community parks and green spaces dotted about. This area is full of fun artisanal shops and restaurants, beautiful desert landscape to enjoy, and even equestrian paths.

Location of Queen Creek

Queen Creek is located in the southeast valley, past Chandler and Gilbert, two of the southeast valley’s most prominent suburbs. For many, this out of the way location allows for a quiet, suburban lifestyle that is free of city headaches. However, if you head into the city often for work or pleasure, Queen Creek might be too far out of the way for you.

Even without traffic, you’re looking at a lengthy drive to get into Phoenix or Downtown Phoenix. Traffic in and out of the city can definitely become a bit of a bottleneck, especially around rush hour. With so many people working from home, however, the traffic is much less of an issue these days for many Phoenicians.

Homes for sale in Queen Creek

Queen Creek is an area that has grown significantly in recent years. Because of this boom in growth, you’ll notice much of the town has an old-mixed-with-new feeling. There are a good deal of new offices and restaurants throughout town, and many new construction neighborhoods and communities, but it all seems to blend effortlessly with the more established infrastructure in town.

Queen Creek isn’t a particularly affordable Phoenix suburb; you can expect to see prices over $500,000 for the homes here. Some older, smaller homes might be available in the $300,000 price range, but those are few and far between and will likely be in need of repair and updating.

Queen Creek is the perfect place to live if you enjoy a laid back, suburban lifestyle with a focus on family centric activities. While it’s a bit of a drive from Phoenix itself, Gilbert and Chandler are both just a short drive away for any amenities you might not be able to find in Queen Creek.

People in Queen Creek enjoy having the space to have their nice things and enjoy them.
